This route runs through Tenerife's Corona Forestal lush pine forests through the upper areas of the Orotava Valley. This natural area is the widest in the Canary Islands Network of Protected Natural Spaces. Sea of clouds is the most characteristic feature from this part of the island. This is a natural effect caused by the trade winds, which, moisture-laden, push the clouds against the windward slopes, creating the illusion of a spongy sea. Our route follows paths that wind through the vegetation and lead us to the geological formation known as Los Órganos. Here we will cross some spectacular aerial stretches, which are currently fenced and their crossing does not present any objective danger. Finally, in a dizzying and long descent, we will return to La Caldera recreational ground.
