In 1991, I started mountaineering in Asturias with friends and as a volunteer mountain guide. At the same time, I founded the Felpeyu Mountain Group. Shortly after, I started working as a mountain guide for Universidad de Oviedo Sports Service, taking to the mountains groups of university students. During those years, I also guided the mountain group of Colegio de la Inmaculada , taking families and schoolchildren and conveying my passion for mountains.

In 1999, due to work reasons I moved to Canary Islands, first to Gran Canaria and definitively to Tenerife island in 2000, where I have continued my mountaineering activity until today in the massifs of Anaga, Teno, Corona Forestal Natural Park, Las Cañadas del Teide National Park...

In addition, during the last 30 years I have mountainering in Cantabrian Mountains, Picos de Europa, Montaña Palentina, Gredos, Pyrenees, Alps, Dolomites, Caucasus, Atlas, Kilimanjaro, Rwenzori, Andes, Cordillera Blanca, Pamir, Himalaya and Karakorum.

At present I'm Sport Technician of Medium Mountain and Medium Mountain Guide. I belong to the AEGM (Spanish Association of Mountain Guides) and I owns the international UIMLA accreditation (Union of International Mountain Leader Associations). I am also an accredited guide for the Teide National Park and for the Caldera de Taburiente National Park.

Without a shadow of a doubt, my passion is the mountain and I enjoy working as a guide and showing the mountain to anyone who wants to join me.
