This varied hike will take us from Erjos to the highest peaks of the Teno Massif, allowing us to enjoy everytime with a wide range of panoramic views and landscapes that change radically throughout the route. The trail starts from Erjos hamlet next to Abreu's Bar. We will make a short descent to Erjos ponds. If the weather permits, we may be able to see them containing water and observe the different species of birds that use this place as a stopover or resting place. The vegetation changes completely to a pine forest. We will see Santiago del Teide large valley at our feet and the whole volcanic Abeque ridge full of volcanoes and crowned by El Teide.
