Our route starts at the Plaza de La Luz in Los Silos. This square is a symbol of Isla Baja region. After leaving the village centre, we begin our ascent through Bucarón ravine towards Las Moradas abandoned hamlet. As we gain altitude we will enter the unique Monte del Agua, this is one of the main remains of the laurel forest in the northwest of Tenerife. We will finish the first part of the route in the village of Erjos, which sustains all its rural and agricultural charming. We will start the descent crossing Cuevas Negras, which shows what was once the popular architecture of the area and where the royal path that joined Los Silos with Erjos existed. The descent will delight us with the sight of spectacular basalt walls, which have been eroded by water and wind, creating numerous caves. We will finish this scenic route again at the Plaza de La Luz.
