This route runs along the wildest and best preserved coast of the Anaga massif. The Afur ravine carries water for a good part of the year and this circumstance gives the route a special attraction. We will arrive at Tamadite beach, a solitary corner of Anaga that represents the wildest part of the Atlantic Ocean. We will go along the coast until we reach Los Auchones hamlet, where an important wine-making tradition is still preserved. Then, before reaching Taganana, we will start the ascent to La Cumbrecita, a singular pass between the valleys of Afur and Taganana. At this point, we will be able to admire the numerous "roques" that, together with the laurel forest, give this place a personality of its own. Finally, we will descend towards Afur to finish this picturesque itinerary.
